I have just started playing GuildWars, and i'm looking for the full client download for the GuildWars Game of the Year edition, without the Fractions or Nightfall Chapters.

does anybody know where i can find that?

I assume you don't like the download.

Check on the Wiki for "-image", and you'll find what you're looking for.

You need to insert your keys in your Guild Wars account through "edit account".

The only way I can think of to get the "full" download, without Factions (not fractions) or Nightfall, would be to just play the game and let it download as you go.
Other than that, you can do the "-image" thing, but that will download everything, including Factions and NF, but you can do that unattended - while you work or sleep.

The download client on the GW site is only a small client which on it's turn downloads the game content. With the -image option you can download everything. This includes other chapters.

Alternatively, you can buy a recent GW chapter which comes with the software on CD or DVD. Please note that the game media are often outdated, additional downloading will be needed after installing.
